Xiaomi has been selected as one of the 100 most innovative entities in the world by Clarivate Analytics, provider of professional information services of reference.
For the third consecutive year, Clarivate Analytics distinguishes Xiaomi in the report «Global Top 100 Innovators» for its capacity for business innovation and for its orientation to explore new solutions that help improve people’s lives through accessible technology at honest prices.

Innovation as Xiaomi DNA for ten years
During the last decade, Xiaomi has constantly reinforced its efficient strategy of commercialization of innovative solutions and devices through its model «Hardware + New Retail + Internet«, Present since its foundation. Thanks to placing innovation as a key lever, the company exceeded 100 billion yuan just 7 years after its creation, setting a world-historical record. In 2019, with its products present in more than 90 countries and regions around the world, Xiaomi’s revenue exceeded 200 billion yuan.
In 2020, the company positioned itself as the third largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. In the third quarter of that year, the number of connected devices in Xiaomi’s AIoT ecosystem (excluding smartphones and laptops) had reached 289 million, making it one of the largest consumer IoT platforms in the world.
In Spain, specifically, Xiaomi maintained the position of first smartphone manufacturer by volume of shipments (sell-in shipments) throughout 2020, according to data from the independent consultancy Canalys.
