Xiaomi has already launched 4 smartphones with camera setup using 108Mpx sensor from Samsung. These terminals are the Mix Alpha, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 and My Note 10 Pro. This year we will see at least one new model that mounts this same sensor, the Xiaomi Mi CC 10.
According to the information that two developers belonging to XDA Developers have obtained from the source code of MIUI 12Xiaomi would be working on two terminals whose code name is Gauguin who would mount a camera with 64 Mpx sensor and a variant called Gauguin Pro that would incorporate the same 108 Mpx sensor than the high end of Xiaomi.
In both versions this new smartphone would mount a 4 sensor camera. As he Gauguin like its Pro version they would have three variants, one for China, one for India and one last for the international market. Everything indicates that we would be facing the renewal of the Mi CC range with its tenth version that would reach globally as Xiaomi Mi Note 11 Pro.
Last year the Xiaomi Mi CC range was the first to incorporate a sensor of these characteristics, which led Xiaomi to focus its marketing on the advantages of using cameras with so many megapixels, although as we have already commented in other posts, more megapixels do not equal better quality.
The Xiaomi Mi CC 10 would arrive with a Qualcomm processor and possibly with 5G connectivity. We do not have more details or an approximate date yet, but we do not think we will see it until the end of September or October.
