1. Say Goodbye to Warranty

Say Goodbye to Warranty which means you should something go wrong with your device and if it has an unlocked bootloader then you are not able to claim your warranty.
So If you root your smartphone then you face this problem.

2. Fear of Bricking Your Device

Most of us avoid modifying or hacking our devices due to the fear of bricking them. Also once a device is bricked, which usually occurs due to hardware of a software hack or mod.
It goes out of warranty and service centers will charge or in some cases refuse to repair the device.

3. The Process is a Hassle

It can involve a lot of hassle after rooting your smartphone.
It involves a lot of prosses in some tasks.

4. Security Risks

Rooting disables some of the built-in security features of the operating system, and those security features are part of what keeps the operating system safe, and your data secure from exposure or corruption.
Since today’s smartphones operate in an environment filled with threats from attackers, buggy or malicious applications, as well as occasional accidental missteps by trusted users.
Anything that reduces the internal controls in the Android operating system represents a higher risk.

5. Update Issues

After rooting your smartphone you should update your smartphone manually.
If the company gives updates than you are not able to receive that update because of rooting your smartphone.

6. Performance Issues and Bugs

The phone is laggy after rooting the phone/Battery is down the tank. Fix: The phone is (partially) lagging because the ENG bootloader automatically sets the CPU governor to “Performance.”
While this is supposed to lock the CPU frequency at the maximum values, it does cause a lot of heat and possibly throttling
