The Huami company, the owner of the Amazfit brand, has improved the monitoring of two of its smartwatches. The Amazfit GTR and Amazfit GTS will now be able to track daily nap sleep.
This new functionality is highly anticipated since in this simple way one of the “errors” that these models and the different smartwatches of the brand have always had has been corrected.
Until before this update that comes packaged in firmware version 22.214.171.124 the user could only see a record of the hours of sleep made at night. Now the user will be able to know how many minutes they have slept throughout the day up to their maximum measurement of 20 minutes. For this, the user must sleep and the smartwatch will take care of making the measurement.
In the case of the Amazfit GTS, this update also adds snoring monitoring.
At the moment, this upgrade is only available in the Vietnam region, but Amazfit is expected to release the update for all regions, including Spain. We hope that Amazfit also adds this improvement in other smartwatches of the brand such as the T-Rex or Stratos 3 model.
We remember that the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 It already records these hours of sleep at naps and that the manufacturer Huami is now adding it to its smartwatches.
